Educate Today a 501c3 organization is responding to the devastation caused by the deadliest earthquake to hit off the coast of Haiti. Haiti is the world's oldest black republic and the second-oldest republic in the Western Hemisphere. Haiti's regional and historical position is unique for several reasons. It was the first independent nation in Latin America, the first post-colonial independent black-led nation in the world, and the only nation whose independence was gained as part of a successful slave rebellion. Educate Today is accepting: Donations; canned foods; evaporated and powdered milk. Educate Today will do everything it can to reach out to the people of Haiti, and will keep updating our website as information comes in. With your donation you will help sponsor a family through these trying times. Educate Today will have you in contact with that family and assist in building a foundation for their future.
